The International Metalworking Companies (IMC), headquartered in the Netherlands, are a group of hard metal tool manufacturers.

In 1952 Stef Wertheimer founded the company ISCAR ( Israel Carbide ) in Nahariya , Israel . Over the next few decades, he built a group of companies, 80% of which was taken over by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway in 2006 . In 2013 he took over the remaining 20%.
