The Stammersdorfer Kellergasse is the only cellar lane in Vienna with a tavern . The Kellergasse was created after the liberalization of viticulture in the 18th century by Empress Maria Theresa and Joseph II. In 1784, the Stammersdorfer were given the privilege to serve wine themselves, renewed by Emperor Joseph II. Several wine taverns and wine taverns are lined up along the Stammersdorfer Kellergasse. The street area was officially named that way in 1999.
