List of cellar lanes in Retz

The list of cellar lanes in Retz is headed by the cellar lanes in the Lower Austrian municipality of Retz .

Retz is also famous for the extensive cellar system under the old town, which can be accessed from many old town houses. About 1½ kilometers of the almost 20 kilometers long and up to 20 meters deep cellar labyrinth can be viewed on guided tours from the Retz cellar museum.

The Schredlkeller south of Obernalb is an artificial cave system that is protected as a natural monument.

		Kellergasse Kleinhöflein	KG:  Kleinhöflein location	The cellar alley system consists of a 500-meter-long cellar alley that runs from the southwestern edge of the village in a south-westerly direction, as well as a few cellars that are on both sides of the beginning of the cellar alley in the back. There are a total of 91 objects here.
		Senkeltrift, near the cemetery	KG:  Kleinhöflein location	The single cellar lane on both sides is located in a ditch on the south-eastern outskirts. It consists of twelve buildings, most of which are eaves, and is 100 meters long.
		Kellergasse Kleinriedenthal	KG:  Kleinriedenthal location	The cellar lane on both sides leads in a ditch or on an edge of the terrain from the southern rear towards the southwest. It consists of 43 buildings, more than a third of which have been converted or newly built, and is 700 meters long.
		Northern radial	KG:  Kleinriedenthal location	The cellar lane on both sides leading away from the northern edge of the village lies in a ravine. It consists of 20 cellars, mostly in the form of a shield wall, and the majority in need of renovation, and is 150 meters long.
		Northern back	KG:  Kleinriedenthal location	The one-sided single cellar lane is located on the edge of the terrain in the northern rear. It consists of 11 cellars, some of which have been converted, and is 80 meters long.
		Kellergasse Thalen	KG:  Obernalb location	The one-sided single cellar lane is located on the edge of the site to the west outside the village. It consists of 20 buildings, mostly in the form of a shield wall and is 350 meters long.
		Dingelacker basement lane	KG:  Obernalb location	The one-sided single cellar lane is located on the edge of the site on the northern outskirts. It consists of nine cellars in the form of a shield wall, the majority of which are in need of renovation, and is 150 meters long.
		Kellergasse towards Obermarkersdorf	KG:  Obernalb location	The single cellar lane on both sides is located in a ravine south-west of the village. It consists of 20 cellars, almost entirely in the form of a shield wall and most of them in need of renovation, and is 250 meters long.
		Schrattenthaler Strasse	KG:  Obernalb location	The single cellar lane on both sides is half a kilometer south of the village in a hollow. It consists of 14 objects, mostly in the form of a shield wall, and is 200 meters long.
		Urtel Kellergasse	KG:  Obernalb location	The single cellar lane on both sides is on the road to Unterstalb, and is continued in the Unterstalber Urtelkellergasse. Schmidbaur combines these two Urtelkellergassen with the Unteralber Kellergassen Retzerstraße and Hohlweg and specifies 119 objects for the resulting cellar alley system with a total length of 1,600 meters, mostly in the form of a shield wall and a third in need of renovation.
		Kellergasse Windmühlgasse	KG:  Retz old town location	The one-sided single cellar lane runs from the northwest corner of the city center to the west along an edge of the site. It consists of 15 buildings, some of which have been converted for residential use, and is 200 meters long.
		Kirchberggasse	KG:  Retz old town location	The one-sided single cellar lane is located northeast outside of Retz-Altstadt, partly on the edge of the terrain, partly on the plain. It consists of nine cellars in the form of a shield wall and is 300 meters long.
		Znaimerstraße - Schußbergmarter	KG:  Retz old town location	Some cellars are located on Znaimer Straße, about three quarters of a kilometer outside the city.
		Znaimerstraße - Freudentalmarter	KG:  Retz old town location	Some cellars are located on the northern edge of the city on Znaimer Straße and on a dirt road that branches off across from the cemetery.
		Kellergasse Retzer Strasse	KG:  Unteralb location	The Kellergasse is on both sides of the main road running from the north-western outskirts to the north-west. Schmidbaur summarizes it with the two Urtelkellergassen and the Hohlweg and specifies 119 objects for the resulting cellar alley system with a total length of 1,600 meters, mostly in the form of a shield wall and a third in need of renovation.
		Urtel Kellergasse	KG:  Unteralb location	The Kellergasse is located on the street running west from the northwestern outskirts and is continued in Obernalber Urtelkellergasse. Schmidbaur combines the two Urtelkellergassen with the Retzerstraße and the Hohlweg and specifies 119 objects for the resulting cellar alley system with a total length of 1,600 meters, mostly in the form of a shield wall and a third in need of renovation.
		Ravine	KG:  Unteralb location	The Kellergasse is located in the ravine that runs from the northwestern edge of the town to the northeast. 		At the cemetery	KG:  Unteralb location	The cellar lane system is located on the western edge of the village, partly on the edge of the terrain and partly in a ravine. It consists of 18 cellars, mostly in the form of a shield wall and in need of renovation, and is 300 meters long.
