Just north of the L14 state road, a loose row of individual small buildings about five kilometers long extends along the Wagramkante, including press houses, cellars, small houses and garden sheds. It begins east of Engelmannsbrunn , shows a gap a few hundred meters long in the middle between Engelmannsbrunn and Kirchberg am Wagram, then continues to and even - partly interrupted by settlement area - through the village of Kirchberg am Wagram , points just east of Kirchberg am Wagram opens another gap, and then extends further east to Unterstockstall. "Western end of town" |
KG: Understock stable |
The one-sided single cellar lane is on the edge of the site on the outskirts. It extends over 200 meters in length and consists of 18 buildings, one of which is residential. The cellars are partly eaves, partly in the form of a shield wall, and most of them are in need of renovation. Note: The information comes from Schmidbaur. It is unclear which location Schmidbaur meant with this information. The information about the cellars and also the designation would perhaps fit the part of the long row of buildings lying to the west of the place , which extends above the L14 - but then the demarcation to the remaining (further west) part of this "Old Wine Route" appears (see the first entry in this list above) arbitrary. |
