Under the name International XT (or: International Extreme ) three medium-duty truck models were sold by Navistar . The RXT and CXT versions share the platform with the International Terrastar , while the MXT model is based on its own platform.

Versions

CXT

The CXT (or: Commercial Xtreme Truck ) was introduced in September 2004. It is placed on a chassis of the International 7300 . The vehicle is powered by the DT466 diesel engine. The truck is 6.6 meters long and the driver's cab is 2.7 meters high. In total, it weighs 6.6 tons and has a gross vehicle weight of 11.7 tons.

MXT

The MXT (or: Most Xtreme Truck ) was presented as a concept vehicle at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show, and as an improved concept vehicle in 2006, before going into production in 2007. The vehicle has a modified chassis from the CXT which brings the driver's cab further to the ground and a firmer chassis. It is powered by the VT365 V8 diesel engine.

The special version MXT-MV is sold exclusively to the military.

RXT

The RXT (or: Recreational Xtreme Truck ) was presented at the Chicago Auto Show in 2005 . It is lower than the CXT and stands on a chassis of the International 4400 and is equipped with rear-wheel drive and a five-speed automatic transmission. The gross vehicle weight is 9.3 tons.
