The International Dental Show ( IDS ) in Cologne is a leading trade fair for the dental industry.

The IDS is a trade fair for dentistry and dental technology . It is organized by the GFDI Society for the Promotion of the Dental Industry mbH, the commercial enterprise of the Association of the German Dental Industry eV (VDDI), and carried out by Koelnmesse GmbH.
Until 1923 the International Dental Show was a traveling exhibition. The fair has been held in Cologne since 1992.
At IDS 2011, 1950 exhibitors from 59 countries and over 100,000 visitors were counted.
2,058 suppliers from 56 countries presented their products at IDS 2013. The gross exhibition area was 150,000 m². The exhibition had over 125,000 trade visitors from 149 countries. This makes the IDS the world's leading trade fair for the dental industry in terms of the number of exhibitors, internationality, occupied space and number of visitors.
The 36th IDS 2015 had 2,201 exhibitors from 56 countries on a gross exhibition area of 157,000 m² and reached 138,500 visitors from 151 countries.
The 38th International Dental Show from March 12 to 16, 2019 reached 160,000 trade visitors from 166 countries. At the fair, 2,327 exhibitors from 64 countries were present on an exhibition area of 170,000 m². This increased the total number of visitors by 3.2%.
The 39th International Dental Show will take place from March 9th to 13th, 2021.
