Internet pure player

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Internet Pure Player , IPP for short (also Online Pure Player ) are online retailers who offer their own products exclusively online in electronic commerce . They are characterized by central logistics locations , in contrast to stationary retail .

Internet pure players have become a major player in online trading. Their market share there is 14%. IPP are an alternative to traditional retail because they focus exclusively on online business. But just as retailers are setting up additional online shops in multichannel marketing , there are also initial attempts by Internet pure players to establish themselves in retail.

Many of the largest online retailers in Germany are internet pure players, but due to the marketplace function of the largest online retailer Amazon, its assignment is controversial.
