Internet Research Steering Group

The Internet Research Steering Group ( IRSG ; German Internet Research Steering Committee ) advises the head of the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF) and controls the long-term technological development of the Internet. Members of the IRSG are the head of the IRTF, the heads of the various research groups of the IRTF and other people from the relevant research areas.

The task of the IRSG is to create good conditions for research.

In addition to its advisory work, the IRSG occasionally organizes workshops with experts in the subject areas dealt with.
