Intra-trade

The intra-trade provides the goods within the single European market and is indicated in the context of foreign trade statistics detected. The registration takes place via the statistical commodity numbers , separated according to receipt ( import ) and dispatch ( export ).

There is an obligation for economic operators to report intra-trade to the Federal Statistical Office (so-called Intrastat report). There are general exemptions in the form of a so-called exemption list and in terms of value for economic operators with little intra-trade (less than 500,000 euros per year for dispatches or less than 800,000 euros per year for incoming goods).

The report is to be sent electronically. The IDEV reporting system, in which you can choose between two different reporting systems (online form reporting or file upload), and the reporting process eSTATISTIK.core are available as means.
