Irene Hueck

Irene Hueck (* 1934 ) is a German art historian .

In 1961 she received her doctorate at the University of Munich with the dissertation "The program of the dome mosaics in the Florentine Baptistery " and was then until 1963 assistant at the chair for art history at the Technical University of Aachen . In October 1963 she received a scholarship from the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence , where she became a photo library in April 1965 and then headed the photo library from December 1969 until her retirement in April 1999 . After retiring, she initially stayed in Florence until she moved to Lüdenscheid in 2005 .
