Isao Iwabuchi ( Japanese 岩 淵 功 , Iwabuchi Isao ; born November 17, 1933 in Tochigi Prefecture ; † April 16, 2003 ) is a former Japanese national soccer player. He is the father-in-law of professional baseball player Yoshimura Sadaaki .

Iwabuchi made his debut on January 11, 1955 against the Myanmar selection. He scored a hit straight away. He was also on the national team that took part in the 1956 Olympics . The game against the selection of Australia was lost 2-0 and so Japan was eliminated in the first round.
