al-Isāwīya

Al-ʿĪsāwīya or Aissaoua is an Islamic Sufi order ( Tariqa ) in the Maghreb .

The order split from the Tariqa Schadhiliyya in the 15th century . The founder of the order is Muhammad b.ʿĪsā (1465–1526). As in many other tariqas, its members practice the Dhikr with background music.
