Ismael Rivero (* in the 20th century) is a former Uruguayan soccer player .

Career

Offensive player Rivero was in the ranks of the Rampla Juniors in 1941 . In the same year he came to the Argentine club CA River Plate in the Primera División for use and scored five goals there. His club won the Argentine championship. In 1942 he was active with the Chacarita Juniors and the Club Atlético Tigre .

National team

Rivero belonged to the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed six internationals between July 18, 1940 and February 26, 1941 and scored five international goals. With the Celeste he took part in the South American Championship in 1941 and was there with three goals the most successful Uruguayan goalscorer of the tournament. He was also used in 1940 at both the Copa Hector Gomez and the Copa Mignaburu .
