Insulation fitters work on construction sites and deal with the installation of insulation of all kinds - against cold, heat, noise, moisture. They also produce insulating, sealing and filling compounds, and manufacture support and load-bearing structures as well as cladding and protective sheets. Most insulation fitters specialize in a certain area of work: thermal insulation, fire protection, pipe insulation, cooling or soundproofing.
