Isosteres

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Isosteres are special curves in diagrams of thermodynamics . They describe thermodynamic processes using physical adsorption , in which the degree of coverage of the adsorbent remains constant. They appear when describing the reversible cycle of the adsorption chiller .

The terms isostere and "isosteric" (from inorganic and organic chemistry) should not be confused with one another.
