Jörg Ottkowitz

Jörg Ottkowitz (* 1966 ) is a former German football player .

career

The 1.85 meter tall Ottkowitz belonged to the first generation of the Braunschweig Lions , who started playing in 1987. He was a member of the team from 1987 to 1999, served in defense and contributed to the German championship titles in 1997, 1998 and 1999 as well as to winning the Eurobowl in 1999. In the late 1990s he suffered two cruciate ligament ruptures. In 2003 he was accepted into the Braunschweiger's internal hall of fame .
