Jùjú (music)

Jùjú is a Nigerian style of pop music that emerged from traditional Yoruba music in the 1920s . After the Second World War , electric musical instruments were incorporated into music, and Jùjú became one of the most popular styles of music in Nigeria, especially in the southwest of the country.
