The Jewish cemetery in Białogard (German Belgard an der Persante ), a district town in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship , was laid out in 1823. The Jewish cemetery was destroyed by the National Socialists in 1938 .

history

In 1862, the city gave the Jewish community 2 acres and 113 acres of land next to the cemetery free of charge to enlarge the burial site. In order to expand the cemetery even more, the Jewish community bought another large piece of land. When the cemetery was in existence, it is believed that 350 to 375 people were buried there. A Chewra Kadisha had existed since 1858.
