The Adatepe Dam ( Adatepe Barajı in Turkish ) is a dam on the Göksun Çayı River, 20 km east of the city of Göksun in the Kahramanmaraş Province in southern Turkey .
The Adatepe Dam was built in 1995-2013 for the purpose of irrigation . The barrier structure, a rock embankment dam with a clay core , has a height of 89 m above the valley floor and 95 m above the foundation floor. The dam volume is 5.4 million m³ (according to other sources 4.6 million m³). The reservoir covers an area of 18.6 km² with normal damming. The storage space is 500 million m³. The dam is designed for the irrigation of an area of 35,840 ha.
