The Jewish cemetery in Olesno (German Rosenberg OS), a small town of the powiat Oleski in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland , was established at the beginning of the 19th century. The Jewish cemetery has been a protected cultural monument since 1988.

history

Initially, Rosenberg's deceased Jews were probably buried in the Jewish cemetery in Kraskau (Krasków in Polish). The first burial in the Jewish cemetery in Rosenberg took place in 1814.

The cemetery survived the National Socialist era almost unscathed. After 1945 tombstones were overturned.
