The Jewish cemetery Waidhofen an der Thaya is located on Moritz Schadekgasse in the municipality of Waidhofen an der Thaya in the Waldviertel in Lower Austria . The cemetery has an area of ​​1203 m². By 1938 117 and 171 graves respectively were dug.

history

The Jewish cemetery was laid out in 1892 across from the Waidhofen an der Thaya municipal cemetery . The entrance portal with bronze gates was built by the master builder Johann Freiberger from Groß Siegharts, but removed in 1938.
