J. Allen Brack

J. Allen Brack is an American game developer . He has been President of Blizzard Entertainment since October 2018 .

Life

J. Allen Brack worked first as a quality manager and then as a project manager for Wing Commander before he was hired as a producer for Star Wars Galaxies . Brack joined Blizzard Entertainment in 2005 as a producer for World of Warcraft . In 2008 he was promoted to Production Director and in 2014 to Executive Producer and Vice President , leading the entire World of Warcraft development team .

At BlizzCon 2017 , Brack announced World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and a re-release of the first version of World of Warcraft (also known as Classic among gamers ) during the opening ceremony . He succeeded Chris Metzen , who has always presented the news from World of Warcraft in recent years .

On October 3, 2018, it was announced that Mike Morhaime was leaving the office of President to J. Allen Brack.
