Chris Metzen
Christopher Vincent "Chris" Metzen (born November 22, 1973 ), also known as Thundergod , is an American game developer , voice actor , artist and author.
He was Vice President of Creative Development at Blizzard Entertainment and was responsible for the background stories of the well-known computer game series Warcraft , StarCraft and Diablo , until he announced in early September 2016, after 23 years at Blizzard, that he would end his career in order to be with his family dedicate.
At BlizzCon , Metzen always presented the news for World of Warcraft during the opening ceremony . After Metzen retired, J. Allen Brack took over this role at BlizzCon 2017 .
