JAIMA show

JAIMA Show ( Japanese 分析 展 , bunseki-ten , German "analysis exhibition") is the annual in-house exhibition of the Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers' Association ( 社 団 法人 日本 分析 機器 工業 会 , shadan hōjin Nihon bunseki-kiki-kōgyō-kai ) with the focus on analytical instruments and technologies. Sponsors include a. the Japanese Ministries of Economy, Trade and Industry , Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology , Environment , the Japanese Foreign Trade Organization , various embassies and scientific societies.

The first Jaima Show took place in the old exhibition halls of the Ōtemachi industrial site in 1962 and has enjoyed steadily increasing visitor numbers since then. The highest level was in 2008 with 329 exhibitors and almost 23,000 visitors, including many foreign participants.
