JKU FC
The JKU FC (Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi Football Club) is a sansibarischer football club. He plays his home games in the 15,000-seat Azam Stadium .
The club was successful in the 1970s. In 1974 she was able to win the Nyerere Cup . It was the national cup of Tanzania . With the success they qualified for the African competitions. There they lost in the first round against Mufulira Wanderers from Zambia . It was not until 2006 that they were able to qualify for a competition again. There they narrowly failed to USJF Ravinala from Madagascar . In 2017, the national championship was won for the first time and they qualified for the CAF Champions League .
