Jack Urwin (* 1992 in Loughborough ) is a British author.

Jack Urwin was born in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England in 1992. His father died of a heart attack shortly before Urwin's tenth birthday without first consulting a doctor about his heart problems.

Urwin went to London at the age of 18 and studied journalism. He then worked as a promoter for various large and indie music labels. Urwin now lives in Toronto , Canada.

As an author, Urwin writes for various magazines on political topics, mental health and gender issues. He writes for McSweeney and VICE .

His first book, Boys don't cry, on male identity in modern societies, received wide reviews.
