Jacques Andrieux (born February 22, 1940 in Paris ) is a former French football player .
Career
Andrieux grew up in the French capital Paris, where he was accepted into the second division team of CA Paris in 1958 at the age of 18 . Even if there were no substitutions or substitutions at that time, he played regularly for the team and was used in exactly every second game with 19 games played. He reached last place with his team, but thanks to the circumstances at the time, they did not relegate because relegation was not planned. In the following seasons the young player could not get beyond the role of a reservist; in the 1962/63 season he was able to establish himself after a previous year without being used in the team, but had to accept relegation at the end of the season.
Accordingly, he accepted an offer in 1963 that enabled him to move to league rivals FC Sochaux . At Sochaux he experienced as a regular in 1964 both winning the Coupe Charles Drago and advancing to the top French league. Then he not only secured a regular place, but also managed to stay up with the team again and again. In addition, he was able to move into the cup final in 1967 with the team and was in this on the field, even if he failed to win the title in the 1: 3 against Olympique Lyon . With a third place in the following season, Andrieux achieved the best placement of his career. After he lost his regular place in the team in the course of the 1970/71 season and did not get more than three missions, he decided in 1971 at the age of 31 after 174 first division games with two goals and 95 second division games with three goals to end his career. He did not take another post in professional football.
