Jacques Vernier (politician)
Jacques Vernier (born July 3, 1944 in Paris ) is a French politician . He was the mayor of the city of Douai in northern France and from 1984 to 1993 a member of the European Parliament . The environmental expert is currently President of the Supreme Council for Technological Risk Prevention, Conseil supérieur de la prévention des risques technologiques (CSPRT).
