The Jahneiche is a natural monument in the Zuffenhausen district of Stuttgart . The pedunculate oak in the area where the Langen Allee joins today's Marconistraße is mentioned as a stately old tree as early as 1711, where Duke Eberhard Ludwig had a hunting pavilion built for his hunting ground on the Schlotwiese. To mark the 40th anniversary of the gymnastics club Zuffenhausen she received in 1929 after the "father of gymnastics" Friedrich Ludwig Jahn , the term Jahn oak .
