Jakalope

Jakalope are a Canadian pop / rock / electronica group. The designation is derived from the same North American Fabeltier Jackalope from (a, German wolpertinger similar mixture of Hase and Gabelbock ). It was founded in 2003 by Dave Ogilvie, a Canadian musician and producer.

Members

Jakalope currently consists of the following core cast, in addition to changing members:

  2. Dave "Rave" Ogilvie
  3. Phil Caivano ( Monster Magnet )
  4. Matt Warhurst ( SNFU )
  5. Sean Stubbs
  6. Anthony Valcic
  7. Don Harrison, Don Binns and Don Short ("The Three Dons").

In the original constellation, including both albums, Katie B (for Biever) took over the vocals. Chrystal Leigh has held her place since she left the band for a solo career of her own.

Albums

The first album It Dreams was released in 2004. It contained the singles Pretty Life , Feel It and Go Away .

This was followed in 2006 by Born 4 with the singles Upside Down (And I Fall) and Digging Deep .
