James Mattis (cyclist)

James Mattis (born January 28, 1973 ) is an American cyclist .

James Mattis began his career in 2003 with the Webcor Cycling Team . In his first year there, he won a stage at the Elkhorn Classic. The next year he won the second part of the Tour de Nez and took second place in the overall standings. In 2008 Mattis won two stages in the Madera County Stage Race and was able to win the overall standings. At the US amateur championship in California , he was national road racing champion.
