James Rivière

James Rivière (born December 7, 1949 in Paris ) is an Italian artist and designer , best known for his jewelry design.

Life

When he was twenty-five, the Faculty of Sculpture in Gdańsk invited him to be an honorary professor for a seminar on plastic molds in metal. In 1977 he helped found the Centro Design Orafo in Milan. In 1978 he founded the first jewelry design seminar for the Istituto superiore di Design in Milan. He was involved in the creation of the jewelry department of the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, where he taught for several years. His works can be found in international museums and private collections.
