from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jampot (English for jam pot ) is the synonym for the rear shock absorbers among the drivers of the English classic motorcycles of the brands AJS or Matchless , which received this nickname because of their similarity to such pots. At the factory, they were manufactured by AMC from 1951 to 1956. Jampot is also the title of the Kelkheim monthly magazine of the English AJS / Matchless Owners Club, with over 2000 members and sections worldwide.
