Jan Zaor
Jan Zaor (also Zaur , Zaorowicz ) was a Polish baroque architect from Krakow . He lived in the 17th century and worked roughly between 1638 and 1676. He became known as the architect of the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Vilnius .
Work
He started working as an architect in Gołąb around 1638 , working on the Holy House ( domek loretański )
In addition, he designed and / or supervised the construction of the following buildings:
- The Church in Tarnów ( around 1650)
- The Royal Chapel in the Church of Kazimierz Dolny (1653)
- Pažaislis Church and Monastery (1672–1674)
- St. Peter and Paul Church in Vilnius (1668–1676)
