Jane and the Dragon (Original title: Jane and the Dragon) is a Canadian-New Zealand 3D animation series. The plot is based on the books of the same name by Martin Baynton .

Young Jane grows up at Kippernia Castle, where she undergoes rigorous training as a knight as heir to the throne. Your best friend is a big and green dragon, which despite its 300 years is still a very young and playful contemporary.
Production and broadcast
The series originally aired on YTV in Canada and ABC in Australia. In Germany, the series was first broadcast on KIKA in 2009. It was produced between 2005 and 2006 and there were 26 episodes. Mike Fallows directed and motion capture director Peter Salamon.
