January Jones is a Dutch adventure comic series in the style of the Ligne claire .

American stunt pilot January Jones had fast-paced adventures around the world in the 1930s . In order to earn money, she accepts difficult assignments or is unexpectedly brought into breakneck situations. At her side is the young mechanic Rick.

Background and publication

The series was first printed from 1987 in Eppo magazine and then in album form. Since 2012, cartoonist Eric Heuvel has also been the textwriter of the series.

From 1989 Carlsen Verlag published the first three albums in German. In 2017 a complete edition started in several anthologies at Kult Comics .
