Jean François de Guise

Jean François de Guise (born May 15, 1970 in Dessau ) is a German composer, conductor, trumpeter and organist. He is currently working as a freelance composer and lecturer. Concert tours have taken him to various countries in Europe, the USA and Japan.

Life and education

He began his musical training in 1976 with the recorder . From 1977 he received lessons on the trumpet. In the next few years, the subjects music theory , composition, piano and organ as well as conducting and singing were added.

Works

Jean Francois de Guise uses in his compositions a. a. Forms of serial technology. His compositions belong to free tonal music and can be assigned to "New Complexity Music". His compositions are published by Lothringer Verlag für Bühne und Musik and by Österreichisches Bühnenverlag Kaiser & Co.
