Jemma Palmer

Jemma Palmer (born April 10, 1986 ) is an English model and wrestler. She had a tryout at WWE with Katie Lea and was invited to take part in the Diva Search Contest. She is also known under the name Inferno , which she used on the British TV series Gladiators.

Career

Palmer grew up modeling under her mother's wing. She won the Little Miss Midlands and Miss Littlesea as a child. As an adult, she participated in numerous competitions. She reached the finals of Musclemania Britain 2006, Miss Hawaiian Tropic, Miss USA Dream Bikini Body and Miss Maxim UK competitions. She was a model for Loaded, FHM, WWE Magazine prior to her wrestling career.

She also trained in athletics and trampoline gymnastics.

Already in 2005 she worked for Doug Williams at the FWA and acted as a valet on some shows. She had a tryout at WWE with Katie Lea and was invited to take part in the Diva Search Contest. Introduced himself to and trained at Rick Bassman's Ultimate Pro Wrestling school. As "Inferno" she was one of the gladiators of the English edition of the American Gladiators in 2008. Signed a contract with WWE on June 29, 2009 and made her debut as "Penelope Carwin" in Florida Championship Wrestling a day later.
