Jenny Wilson (born October 20, 1975 ) is a Swedish pop musician .

Career

In 1997 she founded the band First Floor Power together with Karl-Jonas Winqist . Sara Wilson and Per Lager joined in and the band released two albums between 1998 and 2003. Since then, Wilson has been going her own way. In 2003 she wrote the song You take my breath away with the Swedish band The Knife . In the same year she also wrote the music for the play Nattjärilen at the Stockholm City Theater and also began to work on her first solo album. This was released in 2005 on the label Rabid Records of the band The Knife and is called Love and Youth . She recorded, sang and produced all the songs on the album herself. In February 2009 she released her second album Hardships! on her own label Goldmedal Recordings. In 2010 she was awarded the European Border Breakers Award (EBBA).
