Jesús Martínez Álvarez
Jesús Martínez Álvarez (* 1942 in Los Sauces , Guanajuato ) is a Mexican graphic artist and painter.
biography
He learned the art of painting and drawing at the regional “ Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras ” center in Celaya . In 1971 he was accepted as a teacher at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas (ENAP), which emerged from the Academia de San Carlos . He also founded the teaching workshop for sculpture at the Universidad Autónoma de Puebla . He has received several regional and national awards for his graphics, paintings and stage paintings.
Martínez has been a member of the Academia de Artes since 1991 .
