The Yazidi Movement for Reform and Progress ( English Yazidi Movement for Reform and Progress , Arabic الحركة الايزيدية من اجل الاصلاح والتقدم) is a Yazidi party in Iraq . The party represents the Yazidi people in the Nineveh plain . She took part in the December 2005 election and won 0.2% of the vote, including a seat in the Iraqi parliament (held by Amin Farhan Jejo). The party won a local governorate seat in Ninawa in the January 2005 and January 2009 elections. The party represents Yezidi interests, Yazidi nationalism and the ethno-religious identity of the Yazidis (who do not identify themselves as Kurds ).
