Jikes was a free bytecode - compiler for the programming language Java . It was originally developed by David L. Shields and Philippe Charles at IBM and is written in the C ++ programming language. Jikes was released as open source under the (GPL-incompatible) IBM Public License .

attitude

The project has not been further developed since 2005. The range of functions is limited to Java SE 5.
