Jinbei is a traditional Japanese clothing made of hemp or cotton that was originally only worn at home or for sleeping. But it is also increasingly worn on traditional pageants.

While clothing was traditionally only worn by men and children, in recent years there have been more and more jinbei for women in mostly more colorful colors.
