Joachim Diederichs (football player)

Joachim Diederichs (* 1964 in Sierße ) is a former German football player .

career

Diederichs has played for the team since the Braunschweig Lions were founded in 1987 and was part of the squad until 2000. The 1.95 meter tall defensive player was the 1999 Eurobowl winner with the Lower Saxony and German champions in 1997, 1998 and 1999. When he ended his career in 2000, Diederichs was in first place in the Braunschweig team's ranking with 201 games. In 2005 he was inducted into the club's hall of fame .
