Joanne Hewson

Joanne Hewson (born August 23, 1930 in Montréal ) is a former Canadian ski racer . In the 1950s she was one of the best runners in her country.

She celebrated the greatest success of her career with eighth place in the downhill at the 1952 Olympic Winter Games in Oslo . Because of a serious leg injury, she had to give up participating in the 1954 World Cup .
