Johann Köteles

Johann Köteles (born March 8, 1930 in Kirchberg am Wechsel ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and trade union secretary. Köteles was a member of the National Council from 1986 to 1990 .

After compulsory school, Köteles attended vocational school and learned the trade of bricklayer. He specialized in an evening school as a facade, plasterer and plasterer and was employed by the companies Sager Woerner and Demel Rössler. Most recently, Köteles was an employee of the construction and woodworkers' union in Vienna, where he worked as the union's central secretary. Köteles was a works council and held the function of the central works council chairman at Sager Woerner. He was also a functionary of the Viennese regional health insurance fund, a functionary of the pension insurance institution of the workers for Vienna and chamber councilor of the chamber for workers and salaried employees for Vienna. He represented the SPÖ in the National Council from December 17, 1986 to November 4, 1990.
