Johann von Scheidt called Weschpfennig († 1585 ) was Bergischer Schützenmeister and bailiff of Porz .
Life
Johann was the son of Rorich von Scheidt called Weschpfennig and Anna, daughter of Christine and Volmar von Buchenhauer called Taufenschlag. Before 1551 he married Elisabeth, the widow of Hermann von Fischenich and daughter of Johann von Berghe called Trips and Magdalena von der Leye. In his second marriage (from 1577 or 1578) he was married to Margarete Anna von Meisenburg, widow of Wilhelm von Blittersdorf and daughter of Wilhelm von Frankeshoven and Anna Bondtwolff.
