John Innes Center
The John Innes Center (JIC) is an institute in Norwich, England, for molecular plant research and microbiology for basic and future-oriented research, training of scientists and the publication of its results.
In addition to externally raised funds, the JIC is mainly financed and administered by the state-run BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council).
