Johnny Brady

Johnny Brady (born January 1948 in County Meath ) is an Irish politician and has been a member of the Dáil Éireann , the lower house of the Irish Parliament , since 1997 .

Brady was a member of Meath County Council from 1974 to 2003 . In the elections for the 28th Dáil Éireann in 1997, he was first elected to the Dáil in the Meath constituency for the Fianna Fáil . In 2002 and 2007 he was re-elected, with the constituency of Meath being divided into the constituencies of Meath East and Meath West , so that Brady ran in 2007 in the constituency of Meath West .

Brady is married and has one son.
