In 1976 he founded Fisher Park - Rock & Roll Set & Event Design with Mark Fisher in London . In 1994, Fisher and Park split again, and Park set up his own studio, Park . His website lists 54 events that Studio Park designed between 1994 and 2002, including several in Germany. Typical of the installations is that they are not permanent. After the event or the end of a longer exhibition (EXPO 2000 - Ferropolis, the city of iron) the installation is history. The light installations alone in the Duisburg-Nord landscape park were designed to be permanent. Jonathan Park cannot be blamed for having become increasingly defective and technically obsolete after 14 years. In 2010 the light sources and their controls had to be replaced. On this occasion, Jonathan Park came to Duisburg on May 3rd to see his installation shine with light emitting diodes, among other things. Some newspaper articles, including pictures by Jonathan Park, point this out.
